It's hard to believe another year has passed. Contrary to popular belief, the new millennium starts in 2001 rather than 2000. So here you go: happy new millennium!
New Year's Eve report
Of all the things to celebrate, the beginning of a new millennium is certainly one of them. Therefore, my parents invited the Liangs over for dinner. The gathering was so much fun that they stayed for the countdown. I still have the post-vacation blues, but it's always nice to have a party right after coming home. :-)
2000 in review
Last year generally went pretty well. The best part was our recent trip to the Southwest. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a vacation this much. It's probably because I'm older now and can better appreciate things.
The only negative thing that comes to mind was when my learning skills teacher sent me to the office for swearing too much. Although Mrs. Roth strongly believes in freedom of speech, I had said "shit" in her class one too many times. But because I knew our assistant principals pretty well, Mrs. Satterwhite only gave me a warning as opposed to a suspension. It really does help to have friends in high places.
Speaking of school, the spring semester starts tomorrow for me. I have a 7:20 a.m. biology class and should probably get to bed soon. Take care, everyone.
